A little about me ~ Sabs (DOA user: Edo Elric)

I have been into BJDs since 2004 - This began with my first doll an AR Ren.
I have been painting all of my own dolls starting as far back as 2005, after that I began to paint dolls for friends.
I graduated from the Art Institute of Phoenix back in 2000, although I've been drawing & painting as long as I can remember.
I look forward to any and all artistic challenges ahead.

Oh well, I should have known that DoA would not keep the artist sub forum open for forever.

I'm kinda sad to see it go. (sad face here) I do hope that means that more of the artists will post over at The Joint ( http://www.bjdartists.com/joints/index.php ) Speaking of which I should post more than just a hello post there.

In Other News I guess I'll be saving for a pressure pot, since Bobobie is not taking any new projects... I'm not sure if this sadness me or takes some worry off my mind. As nice as they were I never felt I got a full answer.

So yeah I decided to go back to my roots of doing heads only I *think*
So after finishing up Misa's redo what side head/type would you like to see?

I'm kinda thinking an msd bear - panda maybe?

Now that I'm home from Dollectable and rested, I'm back to work on TONS of stuff.

Misa Minky is being worked on so soonish there will be a Ver 2.0 and I promise good things! Though I do warn her look is going to change a bit, I will try to keep the over all look she had.

Dobie: sanding sanding and more sanding.

Unoss head: This is one of those dolls I saw and felt the *need* to fix it or to see it fixed. So far I got the volks neck piece out of the head (it had been put in with expoy putty) and a little bit of clean up. Wish me luck with the rest because I'm pretty sure that was the only easy fix to be done.

4/5/08 - did alot of work on the torso as well as cleaning up some of the face plates I casted.

Wow I have some scary claws...^^;

What's this?...updating just a bit here ^_^ I kept breaking my sculpey head in places so I decided to give up trying to do all of the clean up work on that and do a junk cast or two for clean up work.
I play with Legos ...

Hey there everyone and welcome to my work in progress post for Dobie Dane, for Gravity Doll.
Dobie Dane- is a bjd dog/puppy inspired doll...Basically he's a mix of every dog I've ever owned.
"He" is ruffly (yes - I'm making puns, oh dear) going to be 26cm when finished and will be able to wear SD-Yo sized wigs and shoes.
Well before I bore anyone with the little details here's some pictures of his head and my hand >.< ...forgive my hand

I've been putting this project off for almost a year now and it feels good to get back to work. ^_^

His base sculpt is made from super sculpey that has been both baked and boiled many times over.

The body will be genderless, so I'm not sure why I keep calling my puppy a he.
